As healing and healthcare practitioners, we are always striving to give our clients the most supportive care we can. An important part of this is making sure that we’re offering respectful, affirming care to clients and patients of all genders. This workshop will introduce guidelines for working with transgender, gender-nonconforming, and genderqueer clients. We'll present a framework for understanding gender identities, as well as best practices for respectful use of anatomical language and discussion of sensitive health topics. Please join us in helping create safer healthcare spaces for all.
